The Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity HealthCare Ministry is a nonstock, not-for-profit corporation that was established in 1985 to monitor and manage the healthcare ministry of the Congregation of the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity. The healthcare ministry spans three states—Wisconsin, Nebraska and Ohio—and has existed for over one hundred years.
The Franciscan Sisters use compassion and creativity to extend their healthcare mission to the people of the communities in which they serve. With vision and values, the Franciscan HealthCare Ministry will insure quality Catholic healthcare for generations to come.
Our Mission
The Mission of the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity HealthCare Ministry is to carry out the commitment of the Sponsor to the healing mission of the Catholic Church through the provision of quality healthcare services. In a spirit of partnership of dedicated religious and lay caregivers, the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity HealthCare Ministry will strengthen the Sponsor’s commitment by managing change, ensuring stewardship of resources and integrating mission and values.
